Lead - Vicki Dwyer
Vicki has always loved to sing, in fact if it’s anything to do with music – Vicki has wanted to try it… usually with an honors diploma to go with it! Not one to do anything by halves, Vicki grew up in a household surrounded by any instrument that she could beg, borrow or steal – which is somewhat ironic since the instrument she loves the most is the one she was born with. Those who know Vicki well might go as far as to say she is “focused”, some might say obsessive, but then Vicki would make a point of finding out exactly who those people might be!   Vicki is married to James and together they have two children, Kaitlyn and Liam.  Vicki  is a singing teacher, quartet coach and director of two Choruses – Circular Keys Chorus in Sydney’s North West and Sydney Harmony men’s chorus in North Sydney.
 

Baritone - Amanda Andrews
Amanda has always been a very competitive person, particularly in sports, so to be able to do what she loves – that is to sing and compete, then Sweet Adelines suits her down to the ground. Singing in a quartet gives even more opportunities to rehearse and improve her singing skills. Not only does Amanda rehearse for chorus and quartet, but she is also an active member at the local rowing club where she helps coaching & organising junior rowing, taxis her 4 children (who also row) around to various regatta and training venues and assists the club captain ( who happens to be her husband). Singing in Accolade has been a wonderful experience for Amanda. She is able to sing with 3 other women who all have the same goals and love of singing. As well as many hard hours of practice and coaching, there is much laughter and fun.

 

Tenor - Wendy Scandurra
Wendy's superb lyric soprano voice has been instrumental in her musical career that has spanned her life, firstly in choirs, in bands and as a soloist.  Wendy is a hard-working single mum to her two children.
 

Bass - Vicki Sutton
Vicki has been singing ever since she could talk!  Whether it be in church, or at school, or even while washing up after dinner, singing was always the natural thing to do.  Vicki joined choirs and amateur musical societies in her early adulthood, but stopped singing for a few years, whilst travelling and living in England, coming back to Australia, getting married to her wonderful husband David, and producing three gorgeous sons – Robert, Cameron and Andrew.  After Andrew was born, Vicki spotted an ad from a new singing group looking for singers, and attended her first Sweet Adelines rehearsal the following week.  Singing those fabulous harmonies was like coming home, and it wasn’t long before she was quartetting.  Now, 3 quartets and 5 medals (3 of them gold!) later, singing has become an addiction; one she never wants to give up!
